Ingredients

1 head Melissa’s red Napa cabbage, shredded

1 head Melissa’s green cabbage, shredded

3 carrots, peeled, shredded

1 Italian Sweet Red Onion, sliced thin

6 Melissa’s Mini Cucumbers, ends trimmed, cut in half lengthwise then crosswise into bite-size pieces

2/3 cup granulated sugar

Kosher salt and freshly ground pepper, to taste

1/2 cup milk
-
1 cup real mayonnaise
-
1/2 cup buttermilk
-
3 tablespoons red wine vinegar
-
2 tablespoon white vinegar
-
4 lemons, juiced
-
2 Granny Smith Apples, cored, diced
Directions
In a large bowl, add the Red Napa Cabbage and the next 4 ingredients and mix well. Set aside.
In a medium size mixing bowl, combine the sugar, salt, pepper, milk, mayonnaise, buttermilk, both vinegars and lemon juice. Whisk until smooth. Add the dressing and the apples to the slaw and mix well.
Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.
