Forget the green apples you know. Green Dragon® Apples are a special Japanese heirloom variety celebrated for its incredible aroma and full, sweet flavor. Each year, we work with family growers in the Hood River Valley—the only place in the US where you can find this variety. We honestly think they’re the perfect all-around fall apple. They bake well, oxidize slowly (hello, cheeseboard presentation), and taste amazing out of hand as a healthy snack. 

Apples are a good source of fiber. Diets rich in fiber support gut health.

Store apples in the refrigerator's crisper drawer. This will help them stay fresh for longer. Note that apples release ethylene gas, which can cause other fruits to ripen more quickly. Store them separately to prevent this.
