Ingredients
-
1 cup passion fruit pulp, strained
-
1-inch fresh ginger, sliced
-
3 tea bags, green or black
-
1 seedless lemon, sliced
-
Melissa’s Honeycomb, to taste
-
6 cups water
Directions
- Pour 6 cups of water into a medium-sized saucepan and bring to a boil.
Remove from heat, and add fresh passion fruit, ginger and tea, and steep for 15 minutes.
Use a fine-meshed strainer to strain the liquid into a pitcher, pushing the pulp with a spatula to extract every bit of moisture. Season with lemon and honey to taste and stir well.
Serve heated warm or on ice.
