1 package Melissa’s Dried Mulling Spices
1/2 cup Water
1/3 cup Granulated Sugar
1 gallon Apple Cider
Cheesecloth
Wrap the spices in the cheesecloth, bundle up and secure with butcher’s twine.
In a sauce pot, bring the water, sugar and mulling spice to a boil, while stirring.
Add the cider, turn off the heat and let steep for 30 minutes.
Discard the spice bundle and enjoy.
If you want stronger spice flavor, simply steep it longer.
