Korean Marinated Bean Sprouts (Kong Namul)

4 cups Bean Sprouts
4 tablespoons Water
1 tablespoon Dark Sesame Oil
3/4 teaspoon Kosher Salt
1 Organic Green Onions thinly sliced (green part only)
Place water and bean spouts in a bowl, cover with plastic wrap then microwave on high for 1 minute and 30 seconds or until soft (The bean sprouts are done if you can bend them into a “U” shape without breaking).
Pour off the water and squeeze the sprouts between your hands to remove excess water.
Place sprouts back into the bowl and add sesame seed oil, along with the salt, to the warm bean sprouts.
Mix several times with your hands, then cover with plastic wrap and return seasoned sprouts to the refrigerator.
Chill for at least 2 hours or until cold.
Toss with green onion slices right before serving.
