Crisp, sweet, a bit of heat, make this a habit-forming salsa. Shhhh! The secret is fresh apple!

Ingredients
-
½ bag (about 8 ounces) Melissa’s Veggie Sweet Mini Peppers, stems and seeds removed; cut into rings
-
2 ripe Mangos, peeled; pit removed; diced small* See Chef Tips
-
¼ ripe Pineapple, peeled; diced* See Chef Tips
-
½ Melissa’s Jicama, peeled; diced small
-
1 Asian Pear, cored; diced small
-
1 Granny Smith Apple, cored; diced small (If not in season, use your favorite apple)
-
1 fresh Habanero Pepper, stem and seeds removed; minced* See Chef Tips
-
1 Lime, zest and juice*
-
Kosher Salt, to taste
Directions
In a mixing bowl, combine the veggie sweet peppers and the next 6 ingredients. Add the zest and juice of the lime and salt to taste. Mix well and serve with veggie sweet wedges as a healthy alternative to chips.
Recipe Note
NOTE: If Habanero Peppers are too hot for you, feel free to substitute with a 'cooler' pepper such as Serrano.
