• 1 large shallot, chopped

• 1 medium Maui Onion, chopped

• Kosher salt to taste

• Fresh ground pepper to taste

• 2 cloves Melissa’s peeled garlic, chopped

• 1/4 cup Melissa's Fire Roasted Sweet Red Bell Peppers, diced

• 1½ cups chicken broth (or vegetable broth)

• 1/3 cup Chipotle in Adobo, chopped

• ¼ cup heavy cream

• ¼ cup unsalted butter, cut in cubes

• ¼ cup all-purpose flour
