Perfect for a hot day, this refreshing tropical beverage has floral notes.
In a saucepan, combine the sugar and water.
Heat on high until the mixture just starts to boil. Remove from the burner and let cool completely.
Meanwhile, juice the lychees with a juice machine or processor. Strain pulp if necessary.
Combine the juice and the syrup and chill completely.
Serve over ice and garnish with a lime wheel for a refreshing afternoon spritzer.
Feel free to add a shot of vodka or pernod to make an adult libation!
