Melissa’s Organic Blue Agave Syrup is naturally derived from hydrolyzed inulin extracted from an organic Blue Weber Agave cactus plant, grown only in Mexico. It is 40% sweeter than sugar, so you will use less and consume fewer calories. Blue Agave is different from other agave syrups which are derived from wild agave; it has a milder but positive effect on blood sugar levels. Use as a fruit topping for cut fruits, pancake syrup or for anything you need some added sweetness that is high in flavor but low on the Glycemic Index.
Melissa’s Organic Blue Agave Syrup is shelf stable. It is made without additives or preservatives and requires no refrigeration.
