How To Create an
Irresistible Grazing Board

What is a grazing board, you ask? Well, it's kind of like a cheese platter but with more variety! It's a platter of food that's arranged in a visually appealing way, with all sorts of nibbles to choose from, like cured meats, cheeses, fruits, vegetables, dips, and more.

Grazing boards are a great way to serve food at any gathering, big or small. They're perfect for parties, potlucks, or even a casual dinner with friends. And because they're so customizable, there's something for everyone to enjoy.

Follow our lead to take out the stress and guesswork of making one yourself.

Herby Potato Latke Platter

Board Basics

To get started, you’ll need a large platter, a cutting board, a marble slab or even a cookie sheet should do the trick. You’ll also need ramekins, small bowls and maybe a few shot glasses to hold dips, mustards, jams, sauces and pestos.

Step 1. Dips and Condiments
Start by placing dips and condiments on your board. We recommend Hollandaise Sauce, Basil Pesto, Honeycomb, Honeycomb Box, Dessert Sauces, Guava Paste and Quince Paste.

Step 2. Star Ingredients
Next, arrange your star ingredients around the dips. In this example, we use latkes, but it could be anything from Watermelon Radish and Butterscotch™ Pears to cheese and charcuterie or crepes and bagels.

Step 3. Fresh Fruits and Veggies
Fill in the gaps by positioning clusters of Muscatos™ grapes, cut Green Dragon® Apples, and sliced mini cucumbers (to name just a few).

Step 4. Garnish Like a Boss
For the final touch, garnish with fresh herbs, dried fruit, nuts (try our Hatch Pecans!), Clean Snax®, Crispy Chickpea Snax™, olives and pickles. (Love heat? Try our Pickled Peppers, too.)
