Melissa’s Organic Valencia Oranges are an emblematic crop of citrus and are the perfect sweet orange to have on hand when available. These oranges are originally named after the city of Valencia in Spain, but are currently grown and sourced from the US. This orange is typically available outside of the usual citrus season, starting in March and continuing through December, which makes them that much more special. Valencia showcase premium quality with few seeds, and their juice has a craveable rich flavor that doesn’t turn bitter after juicing, giving them the title of the ultimate juicing orange. With an easy-to-peel, somewhat smooth kind, this orange can also be enjoyed fresh out-of-hand.

Organic Valencia Oranges are preferred for reasons of taste, health and the environment. Enjoy fresh oranges out of the hand, grilled with poultry or fish, mixed in salads, squeezed into juice or used as a garnish.
