Pasta Para Duros, available from Don Enrique® (a complete line of Latin items from Melissa’s) are popular Latin snacks. As a low fat snack, Pasta Para Duros are available in two different shapes: traditional rectangles or circular “wagon wheels”.
Delicious as a snack served with hot sauce, salsa, or try with fresh lime juice and a sprinkle of Don Enrique's® Pico de Gallo seasoning powder.
Pasta Para Duros from Don Enrique® are hand packed for excellent quality.
Store in a cool, dry place for an indefinite amount of time.
In a deep fryer or pot, heat vegetable oil to a temperature between 320 degrees F to 380 degrees F. Place from 8 to 10 wheels or 4 to 5 rectangles into a strainer. Submerge the strainer containing the wheels/rectangles in oil for about 3 to 4 seconds. Take the strainer out of fryer/pot when they are puffed up and drain excess oil from the wheels/rectangles on paper towels.
Season immediately and enjoy a delicious snack!
