Melissa's Hatch Pepper Powder Shakers provide an easy way to flavor soups, stews and dips with this versatile and tasty pepper.
The Hatch pepper, grown exclusively in the Mesilla Valley near Hatch, New Mexico, is considered to be one of the most flavorful peppers in the world. While available fresh for just a month in late summer, the uniquely rich taste of this special pepper is now available in powder form, both mild and hot, in convenient shakers.
The Green Hatch Pepper Powder, unlike the red, is made from Hatch Peppers that are picked and dried when green. This powder tastes zesty and fresh!
Use on anything you like just as you would use pepper. Also try sprinkling on cut fruits and vegetables such as mango, papaya, watermelon and jicama. For a savory treat, sprinkle on popcorn, nuts and crackers.
Store at room temperature for up to one year without losing flavor. Keep pepper shakers out of direct sunlight.
Ingredients: Dried Ground Green Hatch Pepper, with less than 2% Tricalcium Phosphate (as Anticaking Agent).
