Avocados, Removing the Flesh

Cut the avocado in half lengthwise by running the knife around the pit.

Remove the pit by placing the halved avocado on the cutting board and plunging the knife blade into the pit.

Twist and remove pit, discard.

Using a large tablespoon, run along the inside of the avocado between the skin and the meat.

Scoop out of the shell and cut as needed.
