Ingredients

1/2 cup organic orange juice, freshly squeezed

2 tablespoons orange zest

2 tablespoons honey

1 tablespoon butter

1 teaspoon allspice (optional)

3/4 pound Sno peas, strings removed

3/4 pound organic carrots, cut into coins
Directions
In a small saucepan, combine all ingredients except sno peas and carrots. Bring mixture to a boil.
Reduce heat and simmer until liquid is reduced to about a cup.
Blanch sno peas and carrots (separately) in boiling salted water about 30 seconds; drain.
Immediately transfer vegetables to serving dish. Pour orange sauce over and toss to coat. Serve hot.
