6 ripe guavas
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
1 small onion, finely chopped
1/2 cup vegetable stock
2 teaspoons hot pepper sauce
Cut each guava in half. Scoop out the pulp and place in a bowl.
Meanwhile, heat oil in a saucepan and sauté onions until they are soft and translucent.
Stir in remaining ingredients.
Cook, stirring constantly until the sauce thickens.
