4 Canelas (Cinnamon Sticks) ground
2 Bananas sliced
1 Starfruit, tips trimmed and fruit sliced crosswise
1 tablespoon Sugar
1 stick Butter or Margarine
Raisin Nut Bread or equivalent Pound Cake, Shortcake, or Lady Fingers
In a pan, sauté the cinnamon, bananas, starfruit, and sugar in the butter until warm, about 1 1/2 minutes.
Place 1 slice of bread on each plate and cover it with the fruit mixture.
For a more decadent version, drizzle with chocolate syrup and top with whipped cream.
