I start the year looking back to look forward. This past year my colleague Sam Vandegrift and I traveled far and wide, teaching a workshop called Bringing Joy to Work.

Does it seem like things are speeding back up these days? Our slowing down that occurred during the pandemic seems to be a distant memory. We race to work, run to yoga, and feel as though the text sound is an alarm for instant action.

Since it’s July, I’m sure we’ve all begun to enjoy the amazing selection of Melissa’s organic summer fruit that has been showing up in our favorite store.

In the produce department it’s ok to linger… heck it’s almost expected. Why? Because produce is a department of senses and seasons which is probably what makes it so special to so many of Melissa’s produce customers.
