1 cup granulated sugar
1 cup water
2 Melissa’s Kiwano Melons
4 Melissa’s Mini Cucumbers
3 limes
4 cups water
In a small sauce pot, add the sugar and 1 cup of water. Bring to a boil, stirring often and then simmer until the sugar is dissolved, about 5 minutes. Set aside to cool. This is your simple syrup.
Cut the melons in half and scoop out the bright green flesh into a blender. Slice the cucumbers and add them to the blender. Cut the limes in half and squeeze the juice into the blender. Add the 4 cups of water and blend until smooth. Add the simple syrup, to taste, until you achieve the sweetness of your liking. Strain and serve over ice.
