The Hatch chile pepper, grown exclusively in the Mesilla Valley near Hatch, New Mexico, is considered to be one of the most flavorful peppers in the world. While available fresh for just a month in late summer, the uniquely rich taste of this special pepper is now available in powder form, both mild and hot, in convenient shakers.
The Green Hatch Chile Powder, unlike the red, is made from Hatch Chiles that are picked and dried when green. This powder tastes zesty and fresh!
Use on anything you like just as you would use pepper. Also try sprinkling on cut fruits and vegetables such as mango, papaya, watermelon and jicama. For a savory treat, sprinkle on popcorn, nuts and crackers.
Product of New Mexico.
Keep chile shakers out of direct sunlight.
Store at room temperature for up to one year without losing flavor.
