Pasta Para Duros are a popular Latin snack that tastes delicious served with hot sauce, salsa, or try with fresh lime juice and a sprinkle of Melissa’s Pico de Gallo seasoning powder.
Store in a cool, dry place for an indefinite amount of time.
In a deep fryer or pot, heat vegetable oil to a temperature between 320 degrees F to 380 degrees F. Place from 8 to 10 wheels or 4 to 5 rectangles into a strainer. Submerge the strainer containing the wheels in oil for about 3 to 4 seconds. Take the strainer out of fryer/pot when they are puffed up and drain excess oil from the wheels on paper towels.
Season immediately and enjoy a delicious snack!
