Melissa’s Organic Sweet Potatoes are oblong tubers with similar properties to potatoes. They can be consumed raw and are cooked in almost any way imaginable. They have a light, subtle flavor, creamy texture, and they are organically grown without harmful pesticides, preservatives and fertilizers. Organic Sweet Potatoes are preferred for reasons of taste, health and the environment. Leave skin on Sweet Potatoes when boiling or baking. Boil for 10-20 minutes and top with butter, herbs and spices. For sweet and creamy potatoes, prick in several spots and bake for 45-60 minutes, or until tender, top with marshmallows.

Sweet Potatoes from Melissa’s are hand-selected for excellent quality. Look for firm, well-shaped and fairly smooth tubers. Avoid tubers that have wrinkles, holes or any defects. Store in a cool, well-ventilated area rather than refrigerate. Organic produce should not be stacked with non-organic produce.
