This release comes from Colombia’s celebrated Huila region, where smallholder farmers—many working just a few acres—combine traditional methods with careful processing to produce some of the country’s most expressive coffees.
The beans are washed, fermented for 18 hours and sun-dried on patios. This time-honored process helps preserve the coffee’s smooth body and clean finish, while bringing forward notes of milk chocolate, roasted almond and subtle citrus. Grown at high elevation and composed of Castillo and Colombia varietals, this offering is balanced, approachable and ideal for daily brewing.
Meet the Growers
Each lot in the Grower Series represents the work of passionate producers at origin. While the specific farm or region changes with each release, our commitment remains the same: to source thoughtfully and highlight seasonal coffees that reflect time, place and care.
By partnering directly with growers and sourcing small-batch harvests, we’re able to offer a tasting experience that evolves throughout the year. Each bag is a snapshot of what’s in season—and a step deeper into the world of coffee, from fruit to cup.
About the Grower Series
The Grower Series is a collaborative project between Melissa’s and Herb’s House Coffee. It’s a curated, rotating collection of specialty-grade beans sourced at peak freshness and roasted with intention. Each release is available for a limited time and reflects the seasonal rhythms of coffee growing regions around the world.
