Los Angeles, CA (July 2025) — This summer, Melissa’s Produce is proud to debut a showstopping new grape with international appeal: Red Heart K-Grapes—a naturally heart-shaped, crisp, seedless and juicy variety grown in South Korea and available to U.S. retailers for the first time. With peak availability from August through December, this visually striking grape adds an element of discovery and delight to late-summer produce sets and giftable fruit offerings.

The debut follows on the heels of Melissa’s July 2024 introduction of its original K-Grape—a stunning, large, round, and flawless green variety that quickly gained traction with U.S. retailers for its clean look and premium eating experience.
The arrival of these premium K-Grapes builds upon Melissa’s robust Summer Grape Program, which features a wide-ranging selection of fresh, colorful, and carefully selected seedless varieties grown in California’s San Joaquin Valley.
