This fiery salsa is easy to make – and hot! Use only if you can tolerate spicy food. This salsa works wonders in picking up the taste of bland scrambled or fried eggs.
Ingredients
-
12 Serrano Chiles
-
3 large organic tomatoes
-
1 clove organic garlic
-
2 De Arbol Chiles, toasted
-
1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
Directions
Put chiles and tomatoes in a packet of aluminum foil. Fold foil into a loose package. Put foil package directly over a gas burner on medium heat, until chiles and tomatoes are soft.
Remove chiles and tomatoes from foil, and place in a blender. Add one clove of garlic and blend until smooth. Add salt and refrigerate for several hours to let the flavors "marry".
