Nira Grass has a flavor similar to strong chives. Serve Nira Grass Medley over roasted meats and poultry.
1 bunch Nira Grass, washed and patted dry
6 cloves shallots, peeled and thinly sliced
1/4 cup butter, melted
Over medium high heat, melt butter in sauté pan. Add shallots and stir often to prevent burning.
When the shallots are soft, about 20 minutes, pour over roasted meat or poultry.
Immediately snip nira grass with scissors over onions.
