Ingredients

1 ounce Dried Japones Peppers (see notes below)

2 tablespoons organic red onions, minced

1 jalapeno pepper

2 tablespoons fresh cilantro, chopped

2 organic avocados, medium

1/4 cup Organic Cherry Tomatoes, chopped

1 tablespoon olive oil
-
2 tablespoons lime juice, freshly juiced
Directions
In a small bowl, cover Don Enrique Japones Peppers with hot water and let stand 15 minutes. Drain and chop finely.
In a medium bowl, combine the onion and jalapeño, Don Enrique Japones Peppers and cilantro.
Using the back of a spoon, mash the mixture together until a smooth paste forms.
Cut the avocados in half lengthwise; remove the pits.
Scoop out the flesh and mash the avocados into the onion mixture until smooth.
Stir in the tomato, olive oil and lime juice.
Serve with chips.
Recipe Note
Japones Peppers may be substituted with any Don Enrique Dried Pepper. The heat from the peppers will vary with the pepper you use.
