Chef Tam Gilbert is a food writer, recipe developer and recovering pastry chef. She spent the first 15 years of her career leading pastry kitchens in far-off places, five-star resorts, and beloved Los Angeles-based bakeries.

Her work has been recognized by the New York Times, L.A. Times, Bon Appetit, Sunset Magazine and Coastal Living. A former staff creative at Sauté Magazine, and current member of Melissa’s marketing team, Tam enjoys marinating in words and getting to know the incredible people who make food magical.
