Yukon Gold Potatoes can be cooked in almost any way imaginable. To preserve the nutrients, leave on skins and simply scrub gently in water before using.
Yukon Gold Potatoes from Melissa’s are hand-selected for excellent quality. Look for firm, well shaped, fairly smooth potatoes. Avoid any green discoloration (which is caused by overexposure to light, also known as "light burn") and can be bitter. Avoid any potatoes that show signs of sprouting, wilting, wrinkling or decay. Store in a cool, well-ventilated area rather than refrigerate.
