Consider these your seasonal, all-purpose cooking onions! They’re mildly sweet in flavor with a relatively high water content making them super juicy! You can use them raw or cooked, but they especially lend themselves to grilling and pickling applications.
Storage Tip: Store in a cool, dark, dry and well-ventilated area. Do not store onions with potatoes; spuds give off moisture that can cause your onions to spoil quickly.
Fun fact: To cut the bite of raw onions, let them chill in an ice bath for 30 minutes before using.
