Microwaveable Sweet Potatoes! Our sweet potatoes are triple-washed and ready to cook, so you can have them on the table in as little as 4 minutes. We offer three varieties to choose from, each with its own unique flavor and texture.
Jersey (golden-yellow skin and white flesh): Sometimes referred to as a “white sweet potato,” the Jersey sweet potato is a classic variety with a sweet, nutty flavor and low-moisture content.
Murasaki (reddish-purple skin and white flesh): A Japanese variety, the Murasaki has a rich, sweet flavor and slightly dry texture when cooked, similar to a Russet potato.
Jewel (copper skin and light orange flesh): A favorite orange-fleshed variety, the Jewel has a robust, although not overly sweet flavor with a soft and moist texture. Simple cooking instructions are provided on the label. Be careful when removing potatoes from the microwave, as they maybe hot. Sweet potatoes are an excellent source of vitamin A.
