Newton 2015 Chardonnay

Knights Valley is an AVA (American Viticultural Area) located in Northern Sonoma. The inland, sheltered location makes Knights Valley one of the warmest areas in Sonoma County where the temperature is moderated by cooler evenings caused by elevation, which lengthens the ripening period and ensures a balance of sugar and acidity in the grapes at harvest time. Free-draining soils reduce disease pressure in the vineyards, as well as keeping vigor and yield low, leading to more intensely flavored, concentrated grapes.

Chardonnay is the world's most famous white-wine grape and also one of the most widely planted, responsible for most of the fruity flavors found in Chardonnay wines they range from the tropical, to stone fruits, citrus and apples.
