Each kit contains two fresh mini pie pumpkins and a packet of supporting spices to make a pumpkin pie with old-fashioned flavor. No canned pumpkin required. Just seed, cook and peel the fresh pumpkin, mix in Melissa’s delicious spices, add sugar and dairy products according to the easy to follow directions, then bake in a pie shell for 45 minutes. Each kit has the ingredients for one fresh pumpkin pie, just like grandma used to make!
Store in a dry pantry, out of sunlight, until ready to use.
