These deep red-colored beets are the most common and are wonderfully versatile. Melissa’s Organic Beets are 100% natural and organic. Melissa's Organic Beets are organically grown and dried without the use of synthetic fertilizers, pesticides, or preservatives. Organic Beets are preferred for better taste, health, and environmental progress. For the best taste, cook beets whole with one or two inches of stem intact (so that the beets do not bleed). Gently scrub and do not slice until after they have cooked. Red beets are most often times pickled and can be served hot or cold.
Melissa’s Organic Beets are hand-selected for excellent quality. Refrigerate unwashed beets with stem and root attached. Cover for up to one week. Organic produce should not be stacked with non-organic produce.
