The thin-skinned Organic Baby Yellow Potatoes are round to oblong and have a delicate cream-colored skin that is entirely edible.
They have a light yellow skin and yellow flesh and a, subtle flavor with a creamy texture.
These potatoes are grown in the USA in various growing regions throughout the US, including California, Colorado, Idaho Oregon and Washington throughout the year.
Selection & Storage
Look for firm, well shaped and fairly smooth potatoes. Avoid potatoes that have wrinkles or any bitter green discolorations. This is caused by overexposure to light and is called “light burn.” Also avoid potatoes that show signs of sprouting, wilting, or decay. Store in a cool, well-ventilated area rather than refrigerate.
Potatoes, if unpeeled are rich in potassium and vitamin C. They are naturally low in fat and sodium. Several small-sized potatoes contain about the same calories as a large apple.
