Unlike traditional, water-packed tofu, Mori-Nu has a long shelf life and doesn’t need to be refrigerated until opened. The brand uses aseptic packaging to lock out air, water, light and bacteria. This means that each pack retains “just-made” freshness until it is opened!

Melissa’s offers Mori-Nu Tofu in a variety of silken options: soft, lite firm, firm, extra firm, organic and nigari. Each type has an ideal, silky-smooth texture that can be incorporated into various dishes conveniently described on the package. Soft and lite firm tofu is best for smoothies, salads, desserts, dips and sauces; whereas firm and extra-firm tofu are best for sautéing, stir-frying and air frying. Nigari tofu is authentic Japanese-style tofu made with ocean minerals, and Organic Mori-Nu Tofu is made with NON-GMO soybeans.

Tofu is made from soybeans. It is a complete protein containing all eight essential amino acids. Tofu is gluten-free, preservative-free and very low in saturated fat with no cholesterol.

Once opened, unused tofu should be stored submerged in water in an airtight container and refrigerated. Change water daily and use within a week.
