2/3 cup rolled oats
1/2 cup sugar

½ tsp. flaked sea salt

2 tbs flour
DirectionsPreheat oven to 350 degrees. Butter a 2 qt. baking dish or 8” skillet and set aside.
First, make the topping. Cut the butter into small cubes.
In a bowl, stir together sugars, oats, cinnamon and salt.
Using a microplane, grate nutmeg and zest lemon directly over the oat mixture.
Add cubed butter and mix into the other ingredients until evenly distributed.
Refrigerate.
Next, core the apples and cut into ½” slices and toss with the sugar and flour.
Then, spread the apples in the dish, cover with the topping, and bake for 45-60 minutes.
