Tamarillo and Apple Crumble

1/2 cup Flour
1/4 cup Whole Wheat Flour
1/4 cup Oats
1/2 cup Brown Sugar
2 teaspoons Ground Cinnamon
3 ounces Butter
2 tablespoons Sunflower Seeds
5 medium Organic Apples peeled and sliced
4 Tamarillo peeled and sliced


In a large bowl, combine the two flours, oats, sugar and cinnamon. Rub in the butter until the mixture resembles fine crumbs. Add the sunflower seeds, stir and mix. Grease a large shallow baking dish. Layer the fruit in the base. Sprinkle with 1 tablespoon of extra sugar if desired. Cover with the crumble mixture. Bake in a 350°F oven for 40 - 50 minutes or until golden.
