Father’s Day and the official first day of summer fall on June 20^th this year! Families nationwide will be celebrating with fun and plenty of food. Now that the Covid vaccine has become readily available, more families will be able to celebrate in person!

This year, Cinco de Mayo, May 5, 2021, falls on a Wednesday! Cinco de Mayo has become an "American" celebration with festivities happening nationwide. The holiday started with a celebration in the U.S. in 1863 to show solidarity against the French rule.

This Jewish holiday is celebrated by Jewish people worldwide, and fresh produce plays an important role in this significant holiday. Passover usually falls around Easter Sunday, and this year Passover ends on Easter.

There are many traditions on this Jewish holiday; it is customary to give food as a gift to our friends. Men give to men and women give to women … by way of a third party, usually a child.
