Orange Glazed Sno Peas and Carrots

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cupĀ Organic Oranges juice freshly squeezed
  • 2 tablespoons Orange Zest
  • 2 tablespoons Honey
  • 1 tablespoon Butter
  • 1 teaspoon Allspice (optional)
  • 3/4 pound Sno Peas strings removed
  • 3/4 pound Organic Carrots cut into coins

Directions

In a small saucepan, combine all ingredients except sno peas and carrots. Bring mixture to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer until liquid is reduced to about a cup. Blanch sno peas and carrots (separately) in boiling salted water about 30 seconds; drain. Immediately transfer vegetables to serving dish. Pour orange sauce over and toss to coat. Serve hot.
