Kohlrabi Au Gratin

Ingredients

  • 1 pound Kohlrabi tops removed, peeled and sliced
  • 2 tablespoons Butter
  • Salt and Pepper to taste
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan Cheese - freshly grated

Directions

Cook the slices of kohlrabi, uncovered, in a pot of boiling salted water until tender, 15 to 20 minutes depending on size. Drain. Toss with 1 Tbsp. of the butter and salt and pepper. Put the cooked, seasoned kohlrabi in a shallow baking dish that is coated with the remaining 1 Tbsp. of butter. Sprinkle with the grated parmesan cheese. Put under the broiler until the cheese has melted.
