Ingredients
- 11 oz. Black-eyed Peas
- 2 cloves Peeled Garlic minced
- 1 Organic Tomatoes diced small
- 2 tablespoons Basil cut into ribbons
- Kosher Salt to taste
- Cracked Black Peppercorns to taste
Directions
Cook the blackeyed peas according to the package directions. Once the peas are cooked, add the garlic and tomato and cook for 2 minutes. Off the heat, add the basil and season with salt and pepper.
Note:
If you like some heat, add some fresh minced serrano chile when you add the garlic.
