Ingredients

  • Figs
  • Olive Oil for grilling
  • Blue Cheese to taste

Directions

Trim off the stems and slice the figs in half.

Coat lightly with olive oil and place in a grilling basket - skin down.

Grill on the BBQ on direct heat - low to medium for about 10-12 minutes.

Let them brown underneath, but don't let them burn.

Go back and forth between direct and indirect heat if the figs do start to burn.

The should bubble and boil as they get close to being done.

Pull of the grill and immediately top with a quality blue cheese, like Spanish Cabrales, so the cheese starts to melt slightly.
