Ingredients
- 2 1/2 cups Organic Cabbage (use Red or Green Cabbage) coarsely shredded
- 1 small Onion thinly sliced
- 1/4 cup Water
- 1 tablespoon Lemon Juice
- 1/2 teaspoon Chicken Bouillon or Vegetable Bouillon granules
- 1/4 teaspoon Caraway Seeds
- 1 medium Organic Apples cored and cut into bite sized pieces (apples sliced - optional)
Directions
Combine cabbage, onion, water, lemon juice, bouillon granules and caraway seeds in a 2 quart saucepan; bring to boiling.
Reduce heat, cover and simmer for 7 to 8 minutes (cabbage should be nearly tender). Stir in apple.
Cook for 2 to 3 minutes more until both apple and cabbage are tender. Can garnish with apple slices, if desired.
