Ingredients
- 1 cup Flour
- 3 tablespoons Rice Wine or Sherry
- 1 1/2 tablespoons Sugar
- Vegetable Oil for frying
- 1/2 cup Honey
- 1/2 cup Pine Nuts
Directions
Stir the sugar into the rice wine. Grind the pine nuts to a powder.
Pour the sugar/wine mixture little by little into the flour, stirring to get a workable dough, then knead.
Roll the dough into a thin sheet and cut into pieces about 2 inches long and 1/2 inch wide. Slit each piece down the center, leaving the ends intact. Pull one end of each piece down the center, leaving the ends intact. Pull one end of each piece through the slit.
Deep fry until crisp. Dip each cookie in the honey and sprinkle with the ground pine nuts.
