Ingredients

Mixture

Topping

  • 1 stick Butter
  • 1/4 cup Light Brown Sugar
  • 2 tablespoons Sugar
  • 3/4 cup All-Purpose Flour
  • 1 teaspoon Ground Cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon Baking Powder
  • 1 cup Hazelnuts toasted and chopped

Directions

For the mixture, wash all berries.  Stem and slice strawberries.  Combine the remaining mixture ingredients in the same bowl as the berries and pour into a 9 x 13 baking dish.

For the topping, melt the butter and pour into a bowl. Stir in sugars. Combine flour with cinnamon and baking powder and stir to mix; stir into butter and sugar mixture. Stir in hazelnuts. Separate the topping mixture into large crumbs and distribute evenly over the top of the mixture. Bake at 375 degrees about 45 minutes, until bubbling and well browned. Serve warm or at room temperature. Top with a vanilla bean ice cream.
