Ingredients

• 8   Fresh Melissa’s Mandarinquats
• 14 1/2 ounces Apricot Nectar
• 1/2 cup Sugar
• Organic chili pepper grinder, to taste
• 2 tablespoons Orange Juice or Grand Marnier

Directions

Wash citrus. Cut mandarinquats into 1/4 inch wheels or rounds. Place all of the ingredients, except for the orange juice or Grand Marnier, in a pot. Bring to a boil; reduce heat. Cover and simmer for 5 minutes. Remove the fruit, and continue to gently boil mixture about 15 minutes or until thick and syrupy. Remove from heat. Stir in orange juice or Grand Marnier in syrupy mixture. Spoon over the fruit. Serve warm.

Note

This makes a wonderful accompaniment to plain cheesecake, ice cream, or over fruit cocktail.
