Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup Oats quick-cooking variety
  • 1/2 cup All-Purpose Flour
  • 1/2 cup Packed Brown Sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon Baking Powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Baking Soda
  • 1/4 cup Butter melted
  • 3 large Organic Pears peeled and thinly sliced
  • 3 each Flavorosa Plumcots pitted and thinly sliced
  • 3 tablespoons Sugar
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon Juice
  • 1/4 teaspoon Nutmeg
  • 1/4 teaspoon Cinnamon

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Mix the first six ingredients in a bowl with fork until coarse crumbs form.

Combine fruit in a 10-inch glass pie dish. Gently toss with sugar, lemon juice, and spices. Sprinkle oat mixture over fruit. Bake about 35 minutes or until fruit is almost fork tender and top is golden brown.  Cool 10 minutes before serving. Garnish with a scoop of vanilla or peach ginger ice cream.
