Ingredients
- 1 cup Apple Juice
- 1 stick Unsalted Butter
- 1 cup All-Purpose Flour
- 4 Eggs
- Canola Oil for frying as needed
- Powdered Sugar for dusting to taste
- Dessert Sauces (use Kiwi Lime Dessert Sauce) as needed
- Dessert Sauces (use Chocolate Dessert) as needed
- Dessert Sauces (use Raspberry Dessert Sauce) as needed
Directions
In a sauce pot, heat the juice to a boil and melt the butter, stirring constantly. Add the flour and continue to stir until the mixture forms a ball and doesn't stick to the side of the pot. Remove from the heat and stir in the eggs one at a time. Heat the oil in a deep fryer or tall pot. Form the dough into small diameter, 2-inch long fritters. Fry the fritters until golden brown and drain them on paper towels.
To Plate
Place 3 ramekins with the dessert sauces on a serving plate. Place the fritters on the plate and dust them with powdered sugar. Serve and enjoy.
Note:
Make sure that the oil is not too hot or the fritters will cook too fast on the outside and be uncooked in the center.
Nutritional includes 1½ teaspoon oil per fritter for frying and 1 teaspoon dessert sauce each.
