I first made this delicious cake for my husband's Holiday Party! What a fabulous hit! Everyone now thinks that I am secretly a pastry chef! Since that night, I have made it 3 more times, each time it comes out perfect and people rave about how moist, and delicious it is! I was even able to to get my Uncle (who has had a 40 year boycott of anything fruitcake), to try it and even ask for seconds! This is now going to be my "signature" holiday dessert!

I have never made a fruitcake before, but I can't wait to eat a fruitcake w/ actual fruit in it!
